What is Death Race 2050 all about?
The year 2050 has arrived. In the United Corporations of America, which suffers from an unemployment rate of 99.993 percent and an excessive population, the Death Race serves the dual purpose of providing entertainment and regulating the population. The current iteration of the Death Race takes competitors from Old New York to New Los Angeles, and the defending champion is Frankenstein. In this competition, Frankenstein faces up against a genetically engineered athlete named Jed Perfectus, a hip-hop star named Minerva Jefferson, a female cultist named Tammy the Terrorist, and an evil, black, artificially intelligent, self-driving automobile named ABE. Each participant in the race is given a proxy, who is a broadcaster who provides the viewers with a virtual reality experience of the competition. Annie Sullivan, who acts as Frankenstein's surrogate, quickly puts him off, and he dismisses both her efforts to interview him and her recommendations that he should let his opponents pass him by.
Rebels, headed by former network producer Alexis Hamilton, lay traps around the sector as the cars race along the East Coast. When Tammy and Minerva kidnap each other's cult members for kills, they start a violent rivalry. ABE malfunctions, kills its proxy, and abandons the race to learn its life's purpose after falling into a rebel trap. Hamilton instructs Annie, who is revealed to be her spy, to murder Frankenstein at the first checkpoint. Her effort to seduce him fails since all he cares about is winning the race. The Chairman further notes that Frankenstein has become a burden owing of his lifespan, but Perfectus will urge his dedicated followers to die at his hands.
On the second day of the race, the drivers go through the country's heartland, renowned for its gun-toting populace. Chi Wapp, who represented Minerva, is slain by a suicide bomber dispatched by Tammy. Frankenstein takes a short cut to another tip, but his vehicle becomes stranded in a cornfield. Frankenstein defends against a gang of Resistance ninjas to collect extra points while Annie walks off. Annie reveals to being a rebel at the second checkpoint and seeks to recruit Frankenstein. Frankenstein, who is politically indifferent, criticizes both the rebels and the government, reaffirming his ambition to win the race. Minerva discloses to Annie at a bar that she is an educated scholar who, in order to live, plays a stereotyped hip-hop role. Annie saves Frankenstein's life from Perfectus, who is envious of Frankenstein's notoriety and sex appeal, by returning to his chamber. In the meanwhile, it is revealed that Hamilton and the Chairman are collaborating behind the scenes.
On Day three of the race, the government provides the drivers with "authorized" routes to use in order to escape Resistance assaults. Frankenstein's right arm was injured during his battle with Perfectus, so Annie assists him when he has to change gears. Minerva gives pursuit to Tammy, but she ends up falling down a cliff in an attempt to dodge Tammy's suicide proxy. Tammy gloats over Minerva's murder before an ABE that has returned to the scene slams her into the wall and then blows itself up, bringing both of them to their deaths. While Hamilton and her rebels are wiped out by Frankenstein and Annie, Perfectus takes an indirect way to the finish line. Both vehicles battle it out for first place until Perfectus loses control of his vehicle and slams into the virtual reality control booth. Just before he crosses the finish line, Frankenstein sends a message to his followers in which he suggests that the Chairman himself is worth a point total of one thousand. After Frankenstein has successfully eliminated the Chairman, much to the joy of the viewers, he then invites them to forgo their virtual reality and begin their very own Death Race. Frankenstein and Annie watch from a distance as their nation descends into violent anarchy, at which time Frankenstein makes the suggestion that they should repopulate the nation when the anarchy has subsided.

How exactly was Death Race 2050 put together?
Corman was being interviewed by an Italian journalist at the time, and during the course of the conversation, the interviewer made the statement that The Hunger Games was very similar to Death Race 2000. This sparked the idea for a sequel to the original picture that Corman had produced. Corman approached Universal Pictures, which had created the contemporary remake (which Corman believed had discarded too much of the political commentary of the original), and proposed putting back the dark satire that was there in the original. Corman congratulated them and informed them, "You did a terrific job, but you've removed the murdering of the pedestrians and the ideas of a broken society."
Production started as Corman was nearing the end of his career and at a pivotal time in American politics, in the 2016 presidential election year. One of America's most well-known corporate leaders is featured in this film. It's possible that Trump's hairstyle resembles the president's, but "I do not want to go too deep into that since Trump will come and go, and the film will endure."
Are people excited about Death Race 2050?
"Even though the Death Race movie series is drawing to a close, there are a surprising number of Death Races in the franchise. Roger Corman returns to the Death Race franchise with Death Race 2050, the follow-up to the Jason Statham-starring Death Race trilogy from the late 2000s and early 2010s. In spite of being excellent films in their own right, they had very little in common with the original Death Race 2000 from the 1970s. A three-day race through dystopian America, where pedestrian deaths are awarded points for their over-the-top personalities, is how Corman gets this burning disaster back on track! A 50 at the end of the title this time around." - YouTuber Decker Shado
The Making of 2050, the Look of 2050, and the Cars of 2050! Automobiles! Date of birth: 20 March 2017
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an 88 percent approval rating, based on eight reviews with an average rating of 6.8/10 as of June 2020.
Chris Alexander described the picture as "loud, strident, spastic, cruel, stylish, slipshod, foolish, and brilliant in equal doses" in an article for ComingSoon.net. "All extremely awkward, rickety, and kitschy," remarked Scott Weinberg in his Nerdist review, "but that's just part of the'shaggy dog' appeal of the show." "It's has enough blood, guts, naive political commentary, scenery chewing, and bad special effects to become a cult classic," Screenanarchy.com's Sebastian Zavala said.
